Moretonhampstead, the 'Gateway to the Moor', is an ancient market town on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, and can be found on the cross roads of the A382 and the B3212 Dartmoor roads.

From the A38 Plymouth / Exeter road take the A382 exit signposted Bovey Tracey and continue on to Moretonhampstead. There is parking in Station carpark on the left as you approach Moretonhampstead. Ford Street Gallery can be found by walking up the rest of the way into town; go across the crossroad (Court St and Cross St), round to the left, past Fore Street on the right and New Street on the left, and into Ford Street; the gallery is on your left.

From the A30 Exeter - Launceston road take the A382 exit to Whiddon Down and continue on to Moretonhampstead. As you approach the town there is a roundabout and you turn right to park in Court St carpark. From here walk through the town past the Co-op as far as the A382 (Bovey Tracey and Chagford road). Turn left at the corner, and Ford Street Gallery is just past the Gateway tea shop.

From Exeter or Yelverton you may take the B3212 scenic route. Either side will take you to the centre of Moretonhampstead where you can park in either car park mentioned and walk to Ford Street Gallery.
