New artist Phil Creek
We're excited to be able to show, for the first time, a number of paintings by Phil Creek, whose work will be well-known to many art lovers in Devon. Phil is Chair, Trustee and Honorary Member of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts, and President of the Otter Vale Art Society.

Devon Open Studios 2018
We're sorry to say that Devon Open Studios 2018 has now finished. We've had a successful exhibition with plenty of visitors and good sales. If you missed it, we're sorry, but much of the work is still on display, and the gallery remains open over the winter. Our opening hours are Thursdays to Saturdays, 11am to 3pm. Come and visit us!

Fire at The Ring of Bells, North Bovey
The Ring of Bells pub in North Bovey suffered a devastating fire on Wednesday 13th January, 2016, to the huge dismay and shock of the whole local community. Ford Street Gallery has been displaying a selection of Chris Droop's paintings in the dining room at the pub, which was in the part worst hit. We believe that 6 paintings were destroyed, and we regret, therefore, that they are (obviously) no longer for sale and have been removed from this site.

Ford Street Gallery opens!
What's new? Well... we are for a start. The gallery opened just before Christmas in what used to be Jay's Bric-a-brac shop in Moretonhampstead.
The shop has been beautifully refurbished, and is now a bright, welcoming and colourful space, with a wealth of pictures on display.
Run by husband and wife team Christopher Droop and Sue Holford-Jones, the gallery is a vehicle to show and sell high-quality work by local artists and photographers, as well as some of Chris's recent work. At present, to get us up and running, we are showing an exhibition of Chris's recent oil paintings, including:
- Local landscapes
- Portraits
- Still lifes
- Figurative paintings
- Abstracts
